Shelter is a homage to the memories that come from renewing friendships and the interactions we share during those times. The collection of collages and writings are the verbal and visual poetry of my story-making. The photos used in the collages were photographed on a visit to the Northeast, then manipulated and merged in Photoshop. My writings edited from notes taken while traveling. Shelter is a series of 12 digital collages and writings. 2009, 15”x17”, on rag paper.

The series was exhibited at the The Accident Gallery in Eureka, CA, 2009.
